I have two cats – one goes nuts for this glove, the other prefers a gentle brush but is slowly warming to it. Avoid the face area as it startles them, stick to the body and be gentle. Before long they are addicted. For cleaning – wait until there is a nice thick mat of hair – it comes off easier. A winner of a product!

This glove works just as advertised. What we were not prepared for was the insane amount of fur that this little workhorse will grab. We have pulled literally shopping bags full of hair off our darling labrador! To think that this would just have fallen off and drifted around until we vacuumed it up. I recomend this pet grooming glove. Must have for owners of shedding animals!!!

Actually neither my husbands’ or my opinion of this product matters in the least. The critical review comes from Thomas our very discriminating cat. He approves 100% of the glove. He dislikes all the other grooming tools we have purchased in an attempt to help him maintain his gorgeousness. I am surprised with even a gentle touch, hair is removed without pulling or entangling. I highly recommend these gloves. They are perfect for grooming your cat or dog. My babies prefer these to being brushed. The gloves also work on removing hair from my sofa, blankets and clothing. I wish they fit my hand more snug like regular gloves but that doesn’t interfere with the grooming.

My dogs and cat love this. I could brush them all day long and they would be happy. The glove does not hold the hair from my dogs, they are both rat terriers and have short hair. When I brush them I still get covered in hair and so does the floor. It does remove the hair and debris great It works very well for the cat which has medium length.

I have 2 long haired cats and they always like to be petted but not always brushed. This glove was loved by both cats, within 10 seconds of using it. I can even use it on their tail and the under body area. The BEST part is that the hair “peels” right off. I bought more for gifts. Great product! and it’s made so I can use it with both my hands. Velcro around wrist is a nice idea!

Wonderful product. Wish I had these from the beginning. Reduced the amount of time to groom my big dogs significantly. What I do now: Use this product first for about 10 minutes, follow with a regular brush for 5 minutes, then Furminator until I’m satisfied with how much I’m getting off. I used to spend up to 1 hour once a week on my long haired shepherd. Reduced that to about 30 minutes by using the Pet Grooming Gloves first!!! Very satisfied. Make sure you use them until the gloves look like they have miniature dog-hair rugs on them then just peel them off!

We have three kittens that we adopted and two have white hair. I wear the color black a lot so as you can imagine I have a lot of white hairs on my clothes. This glove has helped cut down on the hair floating around the house and the kittens like to be brushed.

My cat should be the one to write this review and I can tell you, she really enjoyed her first experience with the Pet Grooming Glove (no learning curve). She was always coming back towards the glove to get more “massage”. The glove really worked to remove dead hair. As mentioned , the more hair on the glove, the easiest it is to peel it away.
After the “massage”, her fur was shinier and softer. Quite satisfied. My first “customer” is a medium/long hair female cat (11 year old).
I have not yet tried the glove on my short hair cat.

I bought to use on my cat. I had read another review that said her cat was afraid of it so I left the glove laying on the bed while kitty snoozed. Later she sniffed it and played with it a little. That evening I started petting her with it and she couldn’t get enough of it. The hair came off easily. Nice product, easy to use.

Eureka….it works. My 14 year old 15 pound cat, Audi, has displaced aggression and will not allow me to brush him. He’s a Ragdoll mix and is on Prozac…….the glove does work as advertised and the hair really accumulates on the glove…….leading, we hope, to less hairballs!!

Amazing!! I have a long haired cat who has terrible trouble with hairballs and blockages to the point of having surgery. Unfortunately he doesn’t like being groomed, (he gets very, very pissed off) and I couldn’t help remove the extra coat.
I thought these gloves were worth a try, good reviews etc. I AM STUNNED. When he saw the glove he looked a bit wary but when I started running it over his back, he just rolled over and purred. He would have let me do it all day. The amount of hair that came off was incredible, and that’s all going in the trash instead of inside the cat. I also tried the gloves on my two other cats and my dogs and they all loved the sensation. I give this product, 5 starts, 2 thumbs up, 10 out of 10 and every other high score.
