What a cute little pencil sharpener! It came with a set of batteries (packaged separately) and I could use it immediately. The sharpener is small which is great for keeping on your desk without taking up too much room. The color is just like it shows in the pictures. You can choose to use the sharpener manually or with the batteries. It is very easy to disassemble and clean or switch out the blade if it gets dull. I am very pleased with my new little pencil sharpener…my only hope is that my daughters don’t steal it from me! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review but my opinions are 100% my own.

Build is flimsy and cheap. You have to hold it at exactly the right angle and pressure to work. Frustrating.

This sharpener is more compact than what I visualized from the photos on the website, making it more practical for our family. It’s replacing our old heavier and larger pencil sharpener. It has three options for pencil point shapes, which works for the artist in drawing textures and shading. So far, no jamming, with clean shaven pencils. My son writes more legibly with sharp pencils. Great for getting to the point!

Works great, kids use daily and like the adjustable sharpness so the tip of pencils dont snap off instantly. Using batteries should be high quality rechargables for higher output and works good but becomes a powerhouse when plugged into the wall power outlet.
