Easy to fill, easy to clean. I was unsure how easy it would be to fit the pieces together but I experienced no issues. Don’t be afraid to squeeze the head to get it to fit. When I pull the head out of my drink the excess liquid spills out of the mouth. It looks as though he’s oozing the beverage. Bonus points for a funny effect.
He’s been through 20 uses so far and hasn’t discolored even a little. The crossbones sit on my cup’s handle so the head remains suspended in the drink rather than sitting on the bottom. It’s easy to adjust where he sits in the beverage by wrapping the chain around the crossbones.

The only issues I had was that it took a bit longer than I was used to for the tea to fully blend and it’s a pain to clean. I definitely would recommend using light tea leaves or some that aren’t easily clumped so you can have a much easier time.
Would easily buy again, definitely worth the few minutes of sunshine this little diver brought with him to the bottom of my cup! (and stomach!)

Cute and fun and durable. Works great as an infuser. Problem is that it’s so short. Which isn’t a problem if you are using actual tea cups, but i use taller coffee cups and this sword gets lost in them.

+ Convenient to use.
+ funny… The little guy bathes in your tea and holds to the cup.
+ dishwasher safe and super easy to wash/rinse
+ you just “remove the pants”, put your leaves inside and close it back. Easy to close because the pants are in flexible silicone.
– Holes will let some small tea particles go inside the cup… But honestly unless you use tea bags, I don’t know any tea infusers that would not do it.
– strong plastic / factory smell when you unwrap it… Goes away after a wash and some air drying.

Super cute and it does the job but… the lil diver has a tendency to float up.
I probably should’ve gotten the small metal tea balls but I bought this guy because I thought it was cute. I have to put a spoon on top of him to make him sink to get the Tea to steep quicker.

A solid little infuser. As others have noted, some leaves will come through with this strainer. It’s not bad at all, though…I regularly see more escapees with those teapots with the strainers built in than with this. You can’t make much tea at once (10-12 OZ max, based on how your cup is made) but that’s good because that’s about how much strong tea you could brew with the amount of leaves that fit in this guy.
I recommend two or three swirls around the cup during brewing with it to fully disperse the brew before you take it out of the tea. The hilt/cap will stay on as long as you don’t stir too hard and don’t overfill (no more than halfway up the blade for black tea, probably less if you have one with leaves that tend to expand a bit more).

I love this little guy and it works really well but my kids and I were all taken aback the first time I used it. If the infuser pops off the side of the mug, he floats face down and accumulates stain (temporary until you wash him) and oils from the tea and looks disconcertingly like a dead body. I wouldn’t have thought myself that sensitive but everyone who has seen it so far floating face down has made the same face and thought it kinda creepy. Anyway I still like him and all the other infusers by this brand.
