Live this dog brush. It does an excellent job removing loose hair from our Labrador as well as our mixed breed, curly coat. It removes the hair and holds it in place until you push the button to remove it, making grooming far less messy than a regular dog brush. This is well worth the investment!

Fabulous brush! It is gentle, effective, and so very easy to clean. Massive amounts of loose undercoat is removed with just one stroke and the fur stays on the brush until you push the button to clear the bristles (without poking your fingers). Every brushing session use to end with a vacuuming session because of the hair that would float everywhere. I no longer have that problem with this brush. And I NEVER feel like I am scraping my pets’ skin. While the large size is perfect for a dog, it is even appropriate for a cat because I can get the brushing done in about four strokes.

What would I do without this brush? The previous Slicker brush I bought seemed to do the job, but it was almost impossible to clean. This Safari Slicker brush fits easily in your hand and makes the job of removing the loose fur a breeze. I had no idea how much I needed this product.

This is such a cool brush! It pulls out loose undercoat nicely and the release button works perfectly. I’ve had the brush for a long time and it still works great – the plastic has not broken nor have the pins rusted. I can’t imagine using a slicker brush without a self-cleaning feature ever again.
